I've built my entire OS in Notion and I couldn't be happier tbh. Everything I do, except design of course, runs through Notion, from contracts, to meetings, to billing, project management, docs, client feedback... And with all of that context + Notion AI (uncapped access to Claude with my plan) the efficiencies are beyond this world. And I'm confident I can still get so much more out of it. I can't wait for the official release of their agents. Although from what I've seen so far I don't think it's that different from what I already have with my contexts + skills setup.
That's awesome man, thanks for sharing. We'll always need a collaborative "basecamp" for these things, and it has taken me a long time to articulate why I couldn't permanently get rid of Notion. I've always had a love / hate relationship with it but I've accepted the flaws at this point.
I'm a Notion groupie, and use Notion AI almost daily if I'm being honest. I saw that an update is coming, but I'm honestly not sure how they'll make something this incredible even better. I don't actually use Notion to collaborate very much so I'm curious how you're using it. My "organization" in Notion is really just for me, not for anyone else but it works. Haha
I'm also an Obsidian fan girl who religiously keeps a daily note with my daily, weekly, and monthly tasks. I've surprisingly only seen a handful of videos and posts about connecting Claude to Obsidian, but honestly, I haven't missed AI with Obsidian. The simplicity is the point.
Hard agree with you on small and mighty teams, and needing focus in the moment. Ironically, I've had to give up my tinkering in Bolt and Orchids. Sure, I enjoy vibe coding and iterating on ideas. But my current storytelling brands need my attention, and I can "launder" money to future projects later. Or at least, that's the plan I'm trying to hold myself to. Haha
I've always struggled with juggling a half dozen tools just to do knowledge work. Notion has always been a godsend every since it came out. I've just put it down and picked it up countless times because I'm a software snob and have strong opinions about how things work lol. I've thought about using Obsidian for journaling but I'm just going to keep everything in Notion.
On the collaboration side, being able to invite any random person to a page in Notion and co-create with them is how I'm mainly working. Again, if you want to do this, you basically use Google or Notion, everything else is a pain because of market share dynamics.

A good reminder that productivity isn’t about adding more tools
Indeed!

"launder money" 😂 love it.
